It had been a while since my last post. I was so busy at work, with all the Monday holidays for 2 consecutive weeks, what more could I expect but a compressed day of work. The bright side is that I could take my backlog and work on it at home by just connecting to VPN tunnel. But its not an advantage at all time because once you're trouble with the factory folks, you cannot say no and avoid working during midnights and weekends.
I once thought that being a planner is quite rewarding, but with all the redundancy of the cycle and the extensiveness of details you're dealing with everyday, I now realized that its "killsome".
Killsome, yes, it is. Because you plan a lot of things to help your company excel in satisfying its customer, yet you cannot plan your personal life well due to the fact that the time spent at work is killing what supposed to be for the time for yourself.
If "Patience is a virtue" does not exist, I guess I wouldn't be around this workplace.
-----
Its weekend, and I felt that I need a whole day sleep...well I don't blame it all to work coz I just got off so late today, I got hooked again to Pexing and browsing forums and blogs. Just like now......
I'm stubborn, isn't I? :P

Christian ways to reduce stress
I just found this in my Inbox, an email circulating around. Nice trying these folks, these are proven ways to breakaway from that chronic syndrome that we often experience. However, don't ask testimonials from me, coz I am not able to follow all these for some unavoidable circumstances, but at least I have done half of these steps. :D

--------
An Angel says, 'Never borrow from the future. If you worry about what may happen tomorrow and it doesn't happen, you have worried in vain. Even if it does happen, you have to worry twice.'
1. Pray
2. Go to bed on time.
3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed.
4. Say No to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise your mental health.
5. Delegate tasks to capable others.
6. Simplify and unclutter your life.
7. Less is more. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many.)
8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places.
9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don't lump the hard things all together.
10. Take one day at a time.
11. Separate worries from concerns. If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you do and let go of the anxiety. If you can't do anything about a situation, forget it.
12. Live within your budget; don't use credit cards for ordinary purchases.
13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc.
14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble.
15. Do something for the Kid in You everyday.
16. Carry a Bible with you to read while waiting in line.
17. Get enough rest.
18. Eat right.
19. Get organized so everything has its place.
20. Listen to a tape while driving that can help improve your quality of life.
21. Write down thoughts and inspirations.
22. Every day, find time to be alone.
23. Having problems? Talk to God on the spot. Try to nip small problems in the bud. Don't wait until it's time to go to bed to try and pray.
24. Make friends with Godly people.
25. Keep a folder of favorite scriptures on hand.
26. Remember that the shortest bridge between despair and hope is often a good 'Thank you Jesus.'
27. Laugh.
28. Laugh some more!
29. Take your work seriously, but not yourself at all.
30. Develop a forgiving attitude (most people are doing the best they can).
31. Be kind to unkind people (they probably need it the most).
32. Sit on your ego.
33. Talk less; listen more.
34. Slow down.
35. Remind yourself that you are not the general manager of the universe.
36 . Every night before bed, think of one thing you're grateful for that you've never been grateful for before.
GOD HAS A WAY OF TURNING THINGS AROUND FOR YOU. 'If God is for us, who can be against us?' (Romans 8:31)

The Real Rest
All of us get tired, feels exhausted and sometimes seems unable to find strength.
Where do you go when you are empty? Where do you go when your batteries are low, or drained and you have no energy and your spirits are low? What do you do when you are burdened and weary and wondering if you still have what it takes to keep going?
These questions sounds familiar. Are you there now?
Where do you find rest?
-----
When the world seems so narrow that you can't find a hiding place, just go to Jesus, because he understands all these feelings.
Jesus said, "Come to me, and I will give you rest."
-----
Sometimes, we are so preoccupied with the things of the world that when feel burdened, it seems like its the end of the world. But Jesus is there, all we neeed is to go to Him, go to where He is, and spend time with Him.
With Him in our hearts, we can learn to live freely and lightly. Let us just acknowleged His constant presence in our lives and dwell in it, for He is the God who loves us despite all our iniquities.

8 Random Things About Me
I have to talk about myself coz I'm being tagged again by Chuckster.
Now here's some random facts about me:
1.) I never ever smoke, and I really hate smoking. I hate smokers in public, they are risking other people's health, not only theirs.
2.) I seldom drink liquor, only when needed for social purposes but you will never see anything at home. The bible says don't get sober and be awake all the time. :P
3.) I don't buy pirated vcds, cds, dvds sa bangketa. I just don't know, even if everyone is doing so, I just couldn't watch a film or listen to a song when a pirated cd is in my player.
4.) I love music, the best way to start and end the day. I'm a frustrated musician coz I never got a chance to study and play piano when I was young, so I end up being just a music lover per se.
5.) I love the Philippines because of the happy people around, but I want to live in another place soon and take a new start. I got frustrated by the way Filipinos are accustomed to what was long been societal illness.
6.) I was so much into Sarah G nowadays, I was drawn to her amazing singing prowess, comic ability and humble attitude as testified by fans and people close to her. She's the predominant common denominator between me and my sister, hence, any conflict between us was superseded by the things about Sarah. (isn't it weird?)
7.) They say that I am chubby, but I say I'm sexy (lah!) haha, just kidding aside, I'm actually crossing the border of my ideal weight, that's why I'm trying my best to bring it back to normal. And I am finding this MUST-DO task quite difficult, esp. when you see those tempting sweet stuff like chocolates which I do love.
8.) I like children a lot, I find them very easy and fun especially when you're talking to them in a childlike manner. You could find the kid in you when you deal with them, sometimes its hard to manage particularly when tantrums attack, but then, its part of the deal. I like talking to them about their stuffs during our Sunday School session, and they are all stubborn. But I do really enjoy being with them a lot.
